Our CrossFit Kids program is divided into three different groups; Preschool (ages 3-5), Kids (ages 5-9), Tweens (9-13) and Teens (ages 13-17).
CrossFit Preschool (not currently offered)
Preschool sessions last approximately 20 minutes (one parent must be in attendance; child must be toilet-trained).
CrossFit Kids (Summer Only)
CrossFit Kids builds on the foundation of FUN introduced in Preschool. The skills addressed are expanded to include the majority of CrossFit’s foundational movements. Session times are extended to accommodate the developing abilities of kids from 1st through 3rd grade. The goal of the CrossFit Kids program is to develop and improve general physical fitness in order to prepare kids to be safe in sports (and life in general). Despite the increased physical demands of the class, the focus of the Kids program is still on fun.
Session Times and Fees
Kids classes are held in the summer on Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 to 11am. The fee schedule is listed on our Rates page.
CrossFit Tweens and CrossFit Teens (not currently offered)
With safety as the primary focus, our tweens/teens program will increase athletic performance by making the developing athlete more durable, conditioned, powerful, and strong. By scaling intensity through speed, volume and load, we can make each session appropriate for an elite high-school athlete or a tween simply looking to stay active, healthy and fit.
In keeping with traditional CrossFit, the 45 minutes sessions are constantly varied; young athletes will be less likely to fall prey to the overuse injuries that plague common training routines and year-round sports.
Class Times, Ages and Fees
All tweens/teens must first participate in CrossFit 101. Tweens is designed for grades 4-6; teens is designed for grades 7-9. Tweens classes are held every Monday and Wednesday at 5pm. CrossFit Teens will be coming soon. The fee schedule is listed on our Rates page.
